President’s Service Challenge Scholarship
Established by the President of the United States to honor those students who give unselfishly of their time and energies to volunteer in their community in a multitude of ways. The scholarship is a matching grant type of scholarship and depends upon a 50/50 local match of funds. Presently the D-9 Community Scholarship Fund provides the matching $1,000 and this then provides two - $1,000 President’s Service Challenge Scholarships awarded to our students.
Award Two $1,000 scholarships will be awarded each year
To Study Any field of study
To Attend Any two year, four year or vocational/ technical institution. Must have federal Title IV designation.
Open To Any graduating senior of Eagle Point High School. Student must have a history of voluntary community service to be eligible for application.
Selection Based Upon Review of application by Scholarship committee. Request EPHS Scholarship packet from Eagle Center Advisors or Eagle Center online.
