Larry Stillman Memorial Scholarship

Funded by an endowment that was established in honor of Larry Stillman. Larry served as Business Manager for Eagle Point School District 9 during the mid-1970’s and at the Southern Oregon Education Service District until his death in 1990. It was Mr. Stillman’s desire to assist students who wish to continue their education beyond high school.

The family has established the following criteria: scholarships are available to EPHS graduates or GED recipients who will continue their education beyond high school at an accredited institution. The application process and selection of students is administered through the Eagle Center at the high school.


Award $1,000 The number of awards is dependent upon the amount of available funds from the endowment. (Two will be awarded in 2007)

To Study Any field of study

To Attend Any accredited two year, four year or vocational/ technical institution. Must have federal Title IV designation.

Open To Any student who meets the following criteria;

1. Be a graduate of District 9 Schools …or

2. Have successfully completed the District 9 Options Program resulting in a GED …or

3. Have successfully completed the District 9 Teen Parent Program resulting in a GED …or

4. Live within the geographic boundaries of School District 9 AND successfully completed an accredited high school home school program

Selection Based Upon Review of completed application packet, review of eligibility criteria, and recommendation of high school scholarship committee. A strong commitment and record of community service is desirable in the applicant. Request EPHS Scholarship packet from Eagle Center Advisors or Eagle Center online.
