Helping Serve the Needs of School District #9
The D-9 Foundation was formed as a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation in 1994. The bylaws state "...furnishing financial and other assistance to further the education and activities of its (D-9 School) students at all levels, elementary, secondary, and post-secondary."

The trustees of the foundation have addressed the purpose for which we were established; helping serve the needs of School District #9. We have accomplished much in these few years, but there remains more to be done to achieve all our goals. |

ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- We published the first Alumni Directory of Eagle Point High School and will be involved in updates every 5 years.
- The Trustees established a benefit golf tournament dedicating the revenues to scholarships for our graduates. It has now grown to a weekend event that includes a dinner, silent bid auction, and oral auction.
- The Scholars poster has been a project that we have underwritten to give recognition to our EPHS scholarship recipients. All district scholarship recipients are invited to participate
- The Trustees learned that the number one reason for students' absence and difficulties in elementary school related to dental problems. We have a dental program now in place in each of our elementary schools.
